Hi there folks!

Howdy folks!

Well, I'm new to the blogging community. But honestly I have one reason for doing this (right to the point, I know).
Today I was surfing youtube and came upon a video concerning a pagan's beliefs. I watched it briefly before seeing another video, also by the before said pagan. It was about Christians and what kind of treatment she's gotten from various Christians on youtube. She also had quite a bit to say about what she thought of Christians. She made several references to "Christians'" videos. I watched some of these videos.

Now, I'm a Christian who's beliefs are based on the Bible. I do not base my beliefs on what other people have told me. I take what I believe straight from the Bible. I was raised a baptist, but I honestly don't care about denominations, as long as they follow what the Bible says and TEACH what the Bible says.

So, that being said, based on the Bible's principles, some of these Christians' videos made some wrong points. And the makers of the videos were some of the people treating this pagan "wrongly". Which got me thinking: "It's sad that pagans (and who knows how many other religions) base their beliefs about Christians as a whole on how some Christians with greater influence (but not necessarily correct beliefs as a true Christian) act and present their beliefs."

Christians should be bringing people to Jesus, and showing people that He is the One, True, and LIVING God. We shouldn't hate people of other religions, even if they hate us. We should show them the love of God and patiently try and win them over for the Lord. If that doesn't work, we should be praying for that person or people.

We shouldn't hate people of other sexual orientations.
Yes I said that! I am NOT saying that this is wrong, though. I am saying that we as Christians should love the sinner, not the sin.
My belief, according to the Bible, is that homosexuality is wrong. This does not mean, however, that homosexual people cannot be saved. It is that if and when they get saved, they should want to repent their sin and live a life through Jesus (just thought I would get some general thoughts on my beliefs out of the way).

So, with all that being said, I started this blog in hopes of acting as a voice for Jesus Christ, and as a voice for the Christian community. As a Christian who acts like Christ wanted us to (and no, I'm not saying I'm perfect).
I hope that I will be able to reach people with certain stereotypes about Christians and be able to break those stereotypes down.

I'm not a famous person, nor do I have a big amount of recognition, but I hope that in doing this for the Lord, He will have this reach who He wants it to.

I'm not sure what exactly I'll post. I just know I'll be bragging on my Jesus when I do post something. It could be something about Politics, Music, World Events, Movies, People, Who knows!?
Whatever I feel lead to post I will.
So with that I will leave the blogging community to their thoughts.

In His Service,
Augie
